AgroFair in Gornja Radgona 2025

The AGRA 2025 fair has come to an end – a wonderful week with many horse enthusiasts from all over Slovenia lies behind us. The Lipizzaner Breeding Association of Slovenia (ZRLS) presented our noble horses during these days – the pride of our autochthonous breed. Our stable, “The Court of the Lipizzaner,” was represented by two outstanding mares – the 4-year-old CAPRIOLA XXXI and the 6-year-old FAMOSA X. On Saturday and Sunday, the Lipica Stud Farm delighted the audience with its impressive performances – a true feast for the eyes. On Tuesday, the Day of the Horse, we were honored by the esteemed breeder Janez Peternel from the Barbana Lipizzans, who presented his mare 126 CANISSA IV together with her foal. The enthusiasm was tremendous.
Behind us lie eventful and strenuous days, but they are of great importance for promoting our autochthonous breeds and bringing the work of the Lipizzaner Breeding Association closer to the general public. All of this is only possible because we work together as an association – for us, the Lipizzaner always comes first.
Only through joint commitment and strict breeding criteria can we ensure successful breeding and leave behind high-quality Lipizzaners for future generations. The dedication, the many sacrifices, the work – all of it is visible in every single Lipizzaner. Whoever looks into the eyes of our Lipizzaners can see how much passion is invested in each horse.
